2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Crisco shortening
3/4 cup milk

1. Mix all dry ingredients together and sift into bowl. Cut in shortening so mixture looks like “meal”
2. Stir in milk
3. Turn out onto floured board and knead lightly, about 25 times. Pat out or roll dough to 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
4. Cut biscuits and place in ungreased 9” x 9” pan. Bake at 450ยบ for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned. Makes 9 biscuits.
